Q. The obvious question is how you feel about that first round back this year. YOU hit it pretty well and crept up that leaderboard without too much notice.

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I thought it was pretty solid. The equipment's really good, very pleased with it. It's a little bit different with this golf course being a little wet. It's just not the same. You're used to balls releasing. Hopefully the wind kind of dries it out a little bit, and so on.

But I'm pleased. I struck it well, just one bad swing.

Q. You reminded me of the big change. Usually it takes awhile to get into a groove when you make a big switch equipment-wise. No issues?

BROOKS KOEPKA: No. It's been really easy. I'm very, very happy, and it's even taken me by shock how easy this transition is and I think everything's getting right where it should be. Game feels good. I feel good. I should be playing good.

Q. Have you had any reaction, any noticing of the new green book scenario?

BROOKS KOEPKA: It doesn't really bug me. If anything, I used it more from wedge yardages, trying to figure out where I -- it's a step in the right direction. I don't think it bugs me too much. But I think there's a few other changes they can make.
