Q. Well Gina, you just said it: Finally done with eight days of golf. Just how are you feeling now that your Q-Series experience is over?
GINA KIM: I guess with this being my first time it's definitely been a grueling battle, but I'm just really thankful that I managed to pull out of it and at least get LPGA status.
All in all it was really tough, but I'm just really proud of the way I kept fighting for it, and hopefully next year great things will happen and maybe I might be able to push up my priority ranking a little bit higher.
So it's all good.
Q. You're one of the few that went from Q-I after medalling to now make it here, do it's been more than eight days of golf. It's been a couple months' process. How satisfied and what you do you reflect on to be one of the only people in the field to accomplish such a feat?
GINA KIM: Yeah, I've talked about this with my mom, too. It's just crazy to think how this thing started in August. Just to come to the end of the year, to be able to say, yeah, I got my LPGA status, it's a really rewarding feeling and I feel like all my hard work paid off.
Obviously I have some stuff I do need to work on, no doubt about that. But I do think I deserve a pat on the back for what I managed to do here.
Q. Absolutely. Right now you're competing as an amateur. There are all these choices to be made. Is there a timeline you've set for what you want to do next year?
GINA KIM: I have a feeling I'll probably make my decision in the very near future just simply because, you know, I do need to tell my coaches. I do need to tell my team about it.
I think that's the biggest respect I can give them, update them on what I'm planning on doing.
So, I'm sure you guys will see what decision I make, yeah.
