THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Just tell us how you felt the match went for you. When did you learn that you're going to be playing today?

PETER GOJOWCZYK: Can you explain again?

Q. Just wanted your thoughts on the match today. Also, when did you learn that you'd be playing today?

PETER GOJOWCZYK: You mean how was my match today?

THE MODERATOR: When did you find out that you were playing today.

PETER GOJOWCZYK: Yeah, I find out yesterday. We spoke together, and our captain, Mr. Kohlmann, was deciding yesterday noon. He let me know that I'm playing and I was proud to play.

I think I was also ready to play, but yeah, today was a little bit complicated, yes.

Q. My first question was just what were your thoughts on the match today basically?

THE MODERATOR: Your thoughts on the match. How did you think...

PETER GOJOWCZYK: Yes. Yeah, it was everything mentally, you know. I would say, I don't know, I was not sleeping so well because I was a little bit nervous and tight, of course. You play for Germany, you play for your country, it's always something special, you know.

Yeah, my last match for Germany what I played was 2014. Yeah, and maybe it was a little bit long time to play for Germany. At least I was 2018 on the time in Brisbane, but I was not playing there. 2019 Frankfurt I was there, but I was also not playing there but I was on the team.

Yeah, and today I was playing, but yeah, it was just mental thing and nervous and couldn't through to the game, you know. It was not find any rhythm from the baseline or, yeah, even on the serve.

Then, yeah, it was my first match on center court. Daniel was the second match on center court. He has used to it on the court and I'm not, yeah, but is not excuse, yeah, but that's the point.
