THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. Can you run us through your match, perceptions. What happened today?
VASEK POSPISIL: He served well. I mean, I didn't play my best. For me it's disappointing. Just feel like I'm not as sharp these last few weeks on the court that I would like to be.
Q. What are you taking back home after your performance this week?
VASEK POSPISIL: Well, nothing. I mean, the season's over for me now. It's obviously disappointing for our team to go out the way we did.
We fought hard, tried to do our best. That's it. Now I just go home, have a little bit of a break, get ready for next year.
Q. Is it disappointing in a way, the expectation was around Canada, not being able at the last minute to come with two top players as part of your team?
VASEK POSPISIL: Yeah, for sure it's disappointing. But that's life. Obviously they chose not to play. That's fine. They have to rest and get ready for next year.
I mean, I would have liked to have played better. I'm always capable of playing really good tennis. Like I said, just coming in to this event without your two top players, myself obviously not feeling the best on the court, doing everything that I could to get ready and play well, but not being able to do it, is obviously disappointing all around.
We have an amazing team when we have a full team at our disposal. We can be pretty stacked and very dangerous, but it wasn't at this time.
