THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You played great to save the three match points, won the tiebreak, broke the first game of the third set. How many regrets do you have about not holding in the second game?

BRAYDEN SCHNUR: That's probably my only regret. Probably the only sloppy game I played in the match. First set I don't think I played great. Takes some time to adjust to his ball, everything is pretty much underspin on a wooden court that's bouncing low already and very slow.

I have zero regrets in the first set. Just took me a little bit of time to find my groove.

Outside of that, I played great. I regret the second game of the third.

Q. What is it like playing a guy like that who is not going to overwhelm but keeps a lot of balls in play?

BRAYDEN SCHNUR: Yeah, it's tough. Those kind of players are very tough. Going into the match, you need to be willing to suffer to stay with them. You can't just go out there and blast the ball by them. Today I was willing to suffer. I stayed in a lot of long rallies. I stayed toe-to-toe with him. Unfortunately I feel like he was the luckier of us two out on court. I think he got like five net cords. Pretty lucky with some lines at times. That's how tennis goes.

Credit to him, he really didn't crack. He really didn't give me much. It was really high level. It came down to a couple points at the end.

Q. Looking back to the first tie, would you have been ready to play that match, or were you under the weather?

BRAYDEN SCHNUR: I was 100% ready.

Q. What is up for you now after this tie?

BRAYDEN SCHNUR: I'm going to take some time off. It's been a really long two years. I'm not really going to think about tennis for probably the next seven to ten days, rest my body. Yeah, spend some time with my family, my girlfriend, which I have not had a lot of time to do in the last two years. I've been forced to travel and play, travel and play, travel and play, haven't been able to return home.

I'm really going to enjoy my time home. I've going to have an off-season. Build on the momentum I made this year, take it into next year.

Q. I assume you're playing the qualifying for the Australian Open. Any chance you're playing in the ATP Cup?

BRAYDEN SCHNUR: I'll play both those, correct.
