Q. You fired a 6-under 66 today. A lot of birdies on the card. You've already had kind of a big week already with the Aon Risk-Reward Challenge announcement? How do you refocus on the golf ahead of you?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it is hard. I feel like my head was really big on Tuesday when I was doing all my media for it. But I played well in the pro-am yesterday. I had a really good group with really good company. I fired a lot of birdies, and I knew with the tee boxes being up that it was gettable. It's just a matter of making the putts and hoping the weather holds off.

I got really lucky being second group. Didn't really have to get affected with the rain. That's always nice, and I can have a nice relaxing afternoon and hope there's no delays for the people in the afternoon.

Q. What have you found in your game recently that's been working so well? Having seven birdies on the card, there's got to be something on fire.

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I definitely putted really well. I birdied my first two holes, making really clutch putts. I had one three-putt today, which you can't really dwell on because I made so many other good putts. I feel like I played really well, and when I do play well is when I get the putter rolling, so it's really nice to have some confidence, and hopefully that can continue for the rest of the week.

Q. You talked with Karrie Webb before you stepped up this way. What's it like to have somebody like that in your back pocket as a support system for you and the rest of the Australian golfers?

HANNAH GREEN: It's amazing she's even out here. She said the last time she was watching me play was in 2019 at Hazeltine, so it's pretty cool to even have her watching me back then, as well. Now that the rain is coming in I'm not too sure if she'll follow too many more holes, which I don't blame her. Outside the ropes is hard.

But yeah, it's great that she's always supporting us. There's a few amateur golfers that are here at the moment, and she played golf with them yesterday, so she's always giving back. She probably doesn't realize how much of a big deal it is to those players and myself. I have to say thank you to her.

Q. Do you think the moisture kind of takes some teeth out of Tiburón? This is usually a golf course we don't see a ton of low scores.

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it's been a little bit softer. Today I had a lot of wedges in, as well. It's always nice when you have a shorter club coming into soft greens. You can attack it a little bit. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out for the rest of the week. Hopefully we can see some sun and get it a little bit firmer.

Q. How would you sum up your year?

HANNAH GREEN: It's been up and down, I think. I can't plain about -- obviously won the Aon. I would have loved to have had a win this year and that was one of my goals was to get that, but who knows what can happen on Sunday. I have to be pretty happy and proud of myself. I've had to deal with, I guess, coming back -- going back to Australia. There's been a big sacrifice coming over here four months at a time, and hopefully next year will be a little bit more normal and hopefully I won't feel so homesick.

Q. I was at Korn Ferry TOUR Q-School last week and I talked to Jason Scrivener and he said because of the situation in Australia he's looking to move to the States, preferably Florida. Is that something you've looked into doing is moving to the U.S.?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I did think about it. I was asking my agent actually to look at golf club membership because it didn't really look like Australia was going to open their borders anytime soon. Our vaccine rates are getting a bit better, so it looks like perhaps next year I'll be able to go back, but I think eventually I will have to get a place, especially both Jason and I live in Perth, which is on the West Coast which takes at least 30-plus hours, so I don't know how long I'll want to do that four or five times a year. I haven't quite found a place that I call home yet. I have been using Orlando this year, but it's been busy. There's been so many of us Australians not necessarily stuck but over here playing. It would be nice if I could find somewhere for myself.

Q. Have you been playing at like Isleworth and Lake Nona?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I've been very lucky that pretty much all the LPGA players and all the Aussies have been inviting me and Su Oh to play with them, and it's really nice to actually see other Australians, a bit of banter, a bit of fun, so I'm grateful to them, too.

Q. You already have a million dollars that's going to hit the bank account soon or it may already have. What would you do with $1.5 million more?

HANNAH GREEN: I have no idea. I guess a bigger house? I'm not too sure. Maybe even a house over here. I haven't really thought about it too much. But it is obviously in the back of everyone's mind. I feel like when it hits the bank account you really won't know what to do with it. Hopefully a logical purchase.
