DP WORLD TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

November 18, 2021

Joachim B. Hansen

Dubai, UAE

Jumeirah Golf Estates

Quick Quotes

Q. What was the key to success out there today?

JOACHIM B. HANSEN: Gave myself a lot of chances. Hit it quite close a lot of times. Missed a few good opportunities. Yeah, kept the ball in play and hit some pretty good approach shots.

Q. Is the key keeping those bogeys off the card as minimal as possible, because you know those opportunities are always going to arise around here?

JOACHIM B. HANSEN: Yeah, definitely. The par 5s are all birdie chances. If you can birdie them, plus a few short par 4s with some wedges in the hand, which can give you some good chances.

Q. How much confidence has last week given you going into this week, because you can be relaxed more, knowing you got into this week with that win?

JOACHIM B. HANSEN: Yeah, trying to keep the momentum going and trying to play the same way I played last week. So it's still working.

Q. Not many people can say they have had had the opportunity to win on both courses here. You've put yourself in a good position. I know you can't win it on the first day, but you must be happy with the way you started to give yourself an opportunity hopefully come the end of the week?

JOACHIM B. HANSEN: Yeah, it's a funny week to be on top of the leaderboard, so we'll try to do our best this week.
