Quick Quotes
Q. 5-under par to start, how good is that around this golf course?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: All around, I played solid golf today. Drove it well. Gave myself lots of chances. Greens are so good out here. Give yourself chances, definitely going to make a few putts. I gave myself chances by driving it well, liked, and just all around solid day today.
Q. What's the vibe like at this tournament? Season-ending event; best players on the Tour for that given year. What's the vibe like when you come to the DP World Championship?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: You just feel more relaxed than any other playing during the season. There's no cut and you can just play freely. Just give it your best shot. Feels like a holiday vibe, as well. Staying in the Atlantis, which is a great hotel resort. Go to the pool in the afternoon. Just relax after a long year.
Yeah, just all around, nice vibe, which is kind of cool.
Q. You're one of the strong players on The European Tour, but from the brilliant work you've done this year, and we know about the strategic alliance between The European Tour and the PGA Tour, and you're now a member of the PGA Tour having done through the Korn Ferry and qualified. How excited are you for the year to come and what's it going to be like trying to balance both sides of the Atlantic?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: Obviously really excited. It was a goal of mine to get my PGA Tour card, which I did now. I'm going to try to play both tours, but mainly focus on the PGA Tour. Hopefully I can get off to a good start on the PGA Tour, which will help me to come back more often on The European Tour.
But I'll always come back. This is where I started. So I'll always support The European Tour. But may minute focus is on the PGA Tour going forward.
