THE MODERATOR: Maria, can you walk us through your thoughts on your match this afternoon.

MARIA SAKKARI: I mean, it was a very close match obviously. I think my serve was the reason why I couldn't, like, hold serve easily, why I couldn't perhaps get more chances on winning that match.

But overall I think it was a very high-level match from both of us. Even though I lost, that gives me a lot of confidence for my last match in the round-robin.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Can you talk through the moment in the first set, 6-5, 40-40, what were you talking with the umpire? What did you think the right decision should be?

MARIA SAKKARI: Obviously because I complain, it was because I thought it was the wrong decision he took. I still think it was the wrong decision. I know that everyone makes mistakes. It didn't really help that I needed to have that chat with him at that point of the match.

Yeah, it wasn't something nice.

Q. There's many combinations now that can still help you to qualify to the semifinals. Do you think of these combinations or you just have to focus on your next match?

MARIA SAKKARI: I haven't seen any combinations or anything. I know that I'll give myself a better chance if I win the next match. I'm just going to focus on that. Anything else, it's just irrelevant at the moment.

I'm just going to try and win my next match, and that's it.
