Q. Go through some of your highlights out there.

SEI YOUNG KIM: The first three holes I had a birdie, starting with a birdie, so, yeah, I got -- I had a good momentum.

And then I play with Lexi, and she's -- my group really play well today so we feed each other. I'm very happy with all. Yeah, play good today.

Q. The wind picked up late. Did that change what you were doing beforehand?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, it's going to be little tough because the wind stronger when we play the back nine, so course are feel like longer than front nine.

So even I had couple -- I had birdie chance couple hole but I couldn't make it. I little disappointed with that. Yeah, I just practice a little bit right before the next three round.

Q. What positives are you taking away from today into the rest of the week?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Well, no bogey today, so, yeah, I got a little bit of confident from the no mistake today. So, yeah, hopefully I keep the until the finish the round.

Q. Is it easier to play well when the other people in your group are playing well, or do you just block out that out?

SEI YOUNG KIM: I didn't check the leaderboard so I thought -- because my group really play well, so other people, I expect everyone play good.

I check the leaderboard, and, yeah, our group just, yeah, really play well. So, yeah we all feed each other really, yeah.

Q. Feeding off each other?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, feeding off each other. Because when she make the birdie, okay, I'm going to birdie next hole. Yeah, it's good thing.

Q. That's great. So out here, like on a course like Pelican Golf Club, what did you find on the greens today that worked for you? I know the greens are a little bit tricky this week.

SEI YOUNG KIM: Greens a lot of undulation, so you need the really smart play. If you miss wrong side you have little tricky the chipping.

So, yeah, the point is I think iron shot really important, and then right number really important this week with this green, yeah.

Q. Did you feel like there was anything out there you could be aggressive with?

SEI YOUNG KIM: If I can, but if I have to -- sometimes I need really smart play. Yeah, I don't go aggressive when I need the, yeah, smart play, yeah.

Q. We were talking earlier and you said the worst place to be here is long. Are you shooting a lot of front numbers or are you trying to hit it at the flag?

SEI YOUNG KIM: This week I told my caddie just give me one number to the pin. And then I just depend where the pin is. If I have a front pin, I just pitch it front. If the pin the back pin I just pitch the middle. Yeah, I just play the simple as I can do.

Yeah, I told caddie just give me -- don't give me a lot of number. Just one number, yeah.

Q. Do you always play like that, not with a lot of numbers?

SEI YOUNG KIM: When I struggle playing I need a lot of information sometime. When I play bad or not good. So, yeah, I just need change some strategy, so that's why, yeah, tell my caddie.
