Q. Audrey, thank you so much for joining us. 3-under to begin your Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship. Happy with your performance today?
AUDREY TAN: Yes, I'm pretty satisfied with it. It's my first appearance in this event, and I was pretty excited and nervous going into it. So I'm pretty happy with this opening round.
Q. Now talk to us about the round. Any moments that were particular highlights?
AUDREY TAN: I think just throughout the round I stayed pretty patient and in the presence. I'm really happy with that, I stuck to my game. I opened the round with a birdie, so that was pretty nice, sunk around a 30-footer. So that was a highlight.
Other than that, it was a pretty steady round, just three birdies and all the rest of them pars. So i was pretty happy with that.
Q. Definitely must be happy with a bogey-free round, and that must give you a lot of confidence heading into the next round?
AUDREY TAN: Definitely. It sets a good tone for me mentally as well. So, feeling pretty confident for the rest of the week.
Q. Now, you said that this was your first time competing in the Women's Amateur Asia-Pacific. Can you talk to us a little bit about how you found the week and what your experience at the championship has been like.
AUDREY TAN: It's been great. The food's been amazing. Definitely been spoiled over here. I've heard great things about it, so I had high expectations going into the week anyway, and it has not failed.
Q. 3-under to start the championship and nicely positioned on the leaderboard. Are you feeling confident heading into the next few days?
AUDREY TAN: Definitely. I think it set a good tone for the rest of the week, and I'm just going to stick to my game plan. Stay patient and enjoy playing.
