Q. How was today's practice round?
JEONGHYUN LEE: Today, the focus was on targeting tee shots on the tee-ing ground. It was a day when I learned the target point for sure.
Q. Today's weather is as hot as yesterday. How did you overcome the hot weather?
JEONGHYUN LEE: Yesterday was my first time experiencing the course, so I went around all 18 holes. Today, I only went around the back nine to conserve my physical strength. I didn't attack the green, just the tee shot.
Q. This is your first WAAP appearance. I think it's the beginning of your golf career. What does it mean to you?
JEONGHYUN LEE: I am happy just to participate in an overseas competition other than Korean competitions. WAAP is the largest competition in Asia. I think it will be a good experience.
Q. Have you participated in any overseas competitions?
JEONGHYUN LEE: I studied golf in New Zealand. I went when I was in the fourth grade of elementary school and came back when I was in the fifth grade. I was there for about a year.
I participated in many competitions for a year. I have also participated in the America Junior tournaments and the Evian Junior Championship.
Q. You said you've been to the Evian Junior Championship. There is a privilege when winning the WAAP. What competition do you want to participate in and why?
JEONGHYUN LEE: I want to participate in the Amundi Evian Championship because I participated in the junior competition. Since I played on the same course, I want to experience professional golf tournaments.
Q. Resolution to participate in WAAP?
JEONGHYUN LEE: WAAP is the last competition and biggest competition of the year. I want to get satisfactory results rather than a desire to win.
