THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. How excited are you? Obviously you are, but explain how you're feeling having qualified for the ATP Finals.

HUBERT HURKACZ: Yeah, I mean, it's a great achievement for me. I'm super happy about it.

You dream about it as a kid, and you're, like, when you're growing up you don't know if it's gonna be possible, if you're gonna be good enough.

Now achieving this thing, it's very big for me.

Q. During the match this afternoon, James played an outstanding match. How nervous were you getting and were you starting to think that this might be a tough situation to get out of and then end up qualifying?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Yeah, I mean, James was playing some really good tennis. He was very solid throughout the whole match, especially second and third set. He was serving well, and, you know, it was not easy to play against him.

Obviously in the back of my mind I had it that basically I have to win today. So that was, as well, putting a little bit more pressure by pushing me to, you know, to compete as hard as I can.
