Q. I just wanted to know how tough was it out there to pull off your variations given the dew factor on the field, and do you feel that this trend of winning the toss and winning the match can continue in this tournament?

MAHEESH THEEKSHANA: Actually I don't think like that because there was no dew today. There's a good wicket. We didn't do it, actually. They were better than us.

Q. And you feel that dropped catch of David Warner was the deciding factor in this match?

MAHEESH THEEKSHANA: I feel like mistakes happened, but I still think we didn't bowl well and we lost some 20 runs. That's it.

Q. Did you feel at the time that the total that you posted was 20, 30 runs short, or did you feel that it was a good score that you posted on this wicket tonight?

MAHEESH THEEKSHANA: I think we can definitely go to 170 from the start. We're actually short not 30 runs; I think we had 20 runs it would be okay because we have a good bowling attack. That's it.

Q. Obviously you came into the Super 12s in a lot of form. How do you and the team react to this defeat tonight?

MAHEESH THEEKSHANA: Actually we know Australia is a good team, so we are here to do our basics right and to win. I think they played good cricket today, so that's why they win.
