Quick Quotes
Q. Here at the BMW Ladies Championship, just take me through this second day here.
HAE RAN RYU: So at the beginning I tried to score as many birdies as possible, and I think it worked well. So I feel good about that.
However, when it comes to the back nine, it started to be windy, and I couldn't quite read the lies as well. So I missed some putts here and there.
So I wish I could do better, I did better in that sense.
Q. Take me through that front nine. You had those couple birdies there. What was working so well, and did you feel confident as you head into the turn?
HAE RAN RYU: So it was less windy, and at the same time, I was able to read the lies better. So I think everything kind of came together in the front nine.
Q. What's it like being here at the BMW Ladies Championship, and what do you like most about competing in the only LPGA event in Korea?
HAE RAN RYU: So playing on an LPGA Tour is the dream of all female pro golfers. So I'm very honored to be able to play here at BMW tournament. And I'm really glad that the tournament is also taking place in Korea.
And all the more, I am glad that I am able to perform well yesterday and today. And since I'm younger than other players relatively, from a very young age I always admired the players here before I turned pro. And it's just an honor to be able to play with them.
Q. Who were some of the players you admired?
HAE RAN RYU: Well, all LPGA players. In fact, it feels like you cannot surpass them. However, especially if I were to point out a few, Park In-Bee, So Yeon and Ms. Danielle, I've always admired them, even before I turned pro.
Q. And what will you work on heading into tomorrow?
HAE RAN RYU: So I wish I could play better today. However, about tomorrow, I think it will be still windy and the condition will not be favorable. So my goal is to have less misses and play better.
