Quick Quotes
Q. 4-under par, 67. Get some comments on your day.
MATT JONES: Yeah, it wasn't the easiest day out there with the rain, a little bit of breeze, but just managed the golf course, didn't try to make too many mistake, had a bogey but that's going to happen out here.
Q. The only other thing. Just comments. Two back right now, but just your thoughts going into the weekend.
MATT JONES: Yeah, happy to be there. As I said yesterday, I didn't have many expectations this week, but it's a great start and I'll go do a little bit of work, try and tidy a couple of things up, and hopefully have a good weekend.
Q. Good playing. Good position for 36 holes.
MATT JONES: Yeah, it was good. Anytime you can be up there near the lead is always good. The more you do it, the more experience you get, and the better you'll do with the chances you have.
Q. After the good work that was done yesterday, this golf course got a little feisty. There's some bounces there. The wind was there. How important was the way that you played yesterday to go into today with as kind of up-and-down as the weather played this morning?
MATT JONES: No, I played really nicely yesterday. I managed the golf course really well. I wasn't too aggressive. I wasn't too conservative and just gave myself putts.
Today was much the same way. Just trying to enjoy myself. First event back. Just relax and just see what happens.
Q. It's interesting because this is typically a golf course that allows you to just kind of go out and play in dome like weather. Well, it hasn't been that way. It's supposed to blow tomorrow. What does that do to this golf course when you have to think maybe sometimes more than you typically do out here when it's birdies everywhere?
MATT JONES: Yeah, it will definitely, more often than not when it blows, I do like the tougher conditions, tougher conditions when we're out here playing. It will play differently. We're used to it, because we're normally shooting at every pin you can and having as many birdies as you can.
Q. What are you most pleased with?
MATT JONES: Probably my putting. Hitting it decently. Nothing great, but just overall everything's just solid. It's nothing, nothing's standing out.
