Q. Yoán, after the way things went for you guys yesterday, what was the clubhouse feeling like last night and then when you guys come back this morning? How are you guys feeling this morning?
YOÁN MONCADA: Yesterday's game was the first one. It's true, we lost it, but today we came with more energy, and we're just ready for today's game.
Q. Yoán, you personally had some really good contact against McCullers, who was tough all night yesterday. How do you feel coming in at the plate, and how does that success help you coming into today?
YOÁN MONCADA: I felt good yesterday at home plate, and I feel even better today. I'm just ready to have my good game today.
Q. On the play with Altuve, when you made the nice pickup on the groundball, were you thinking home all the way, or what was your thought process going on earlier in the game there?
YOÁN MONCADA: Yes, that was something that was in my mind the whole time. Unfortunately, he took a good lead, and he beat my throw, but that was on my mind. That was what I was supposed to do.
Q. Your offense gave the Astros relievers more trouble in later innings. Did you see kind of better at-bats from a team down the stretch, or was it just about McCullers being very tough yesterday?
YOÁN MONCADA: McCullers was very good yesterday. He was very good, and he deserved the credit. We tried to do our best, but he was better.
Q. What sort of confidence do you guys have when Lucas take the mound, and what have you noticed from your vantage point, the way he's evolved over the years?
YOÁN MONCADA: We feel good with him on the mound. He's one of our best pitchers. And actually, we feel very comfortable with any of our pitchers, but it's on us to help him too. That's what we're going to try to do today.
Q. You guys have talked a lot this season about being more focused or having the experience of the playoffs last year. How do you see that showing itself in responding to a loss compared to maybe how you would have responded to it last year with this team?
YOÁN MONCADA: We just need to keep playing, keep doing what we've been doing throughout the whole season. We can't change right now the way that we play the game. We have to keep playing just the same way that we've been playing and see the results.
