Q. All right, a round of 69 today. A hard-earned second place finish. Did you know where things stood with Celine when you got to the tee on 17?

INBEE PARK: No, I didn't know. I knew it on 17th green when I saw the leaderboard. Played some great rounds, both groups, and Celine played a great round. I didn't really see them coming from that much behind, and obviously didn't have a great round. I mean, it was okay, but not good enough to win.

So got off to a good start. Just couldn't finish off well. A little bit disappointing, but gave it a try.

Q. When you got to 18 did you think about being any more aggressive on that hole to try and catch up?

INBEE PARK: Well, it's tough because No. 18, it's just out of my reach and for most players it's a birdie hole.

I knew that I had to make a birdie and gave it all I got. Just came up a little bit short. Probably just a little misread on the putts.

So a little disappointing, but that's okay.

Q. What do you think it says about the strength of Celine's game that she went out and put that round together to come back and catch you?

INBEE PARK: Yeah, like I said, 6-under, it's a great round. I felt like I played really good yesterday and the day before. The best goal was still 6-under, so 8-under is really tough to beat.
