Quick Quotes
Q. Celine Boutier with a 5-under 66 today, and looks as though that was bogey-free. Can you walk us through the round.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, it was a very steady round from start to finish. I feel like I started a little bit slow, but I honestly I didn't really make any mistakes.
I just stayed patient until the end and I took advantage of all the par-5s which was good, and overall very satisfied with my round.
Q. This seems to be the kind of golf course where a lot of different kinds of players can do well out here. We got some long hitters, some short hitters, people who are great putters. What do you think this golf course has that you like?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think it's just the fact that it's -- you have to be accurate off the tee, but also on approach shots because the greens are not easy.
You have a couple of holes where you have a lot of wedge shots and stuff like that, so you can take advantage of those.
But you definitely can't play well if you're not a good putter. I think this week is a bit different because it's not as windy as it normally is, but it's definitely a great golf course.
Q. It's also film and fast. Do you like firm and fast?
CELINE BOUTIER: I do actually. I was not always a fan of firm and fast, but I think it's -- the more difficult for me the better, and so I kind of come to enjoy it.
Q. And also, this is one of those sprint kind of things. 54 holes, a lot of birdies out here. Is that a style that you like?
CELINE BOUTIER: Not necessarily. I just feel like three rounds is good, but it's also bad in the sense that if you're a slow starter then it's obviously not the best.
Honestly I'm really satisfied with the good start and only two rounds left, so definitely got to get some birdies in tomorrow and Sunday.
