Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Caroline Inglis. Just kicked off the Cambia Portland Classic with a 2-over round. It's got to be good to be playing back here at home. How are you feeling right now?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, it's definitely good to be playing at home. It was nice to have some friends and family out watching and supporting; always nice to sleep in your own bed.
Q. About how far away are you from home?
CAROLINE INGLIS: I'm closer to the old course, like in Vancouver, Washington, so it's like 35 minutes without traffic. Yesterday took me an hour and 20 minutes to get home, so, yeah, it just depends.
Q. Still, any time you get to sleep at home, right?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. Overall what's the experience like this week? You mentioned a new course and we are certainly happy to be here. It's a change, though. Heck of a walk.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. What it like out there?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, it's probably like the most hilly course we have played all year and very different than the last one. It's beautiful and heard everyone raving about the views, and the greens are really quick, so there is definitely some tricky pin positions out there just because they're is a fast.
Q. Had you had much experience out here or is this a new pickup for you?
CAROLINE INGLIS: I played here a little bit growing up. One of my best friends, her family was a member here so I used to play here, but I hadn't played here, but I got a couple extra practice rounds in last week.
Q. Good. So hope to turn it around tomorrow. What did you take from today's round that you hope to improve on for tomorrow?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, I actually played really good today for like 14 holes, and then just had some -- not the best putting round, especially at the end, so definitely going to go hit a few putts and figure that out.
