THE MODERATOR: If you could just describe your thoughts on the match and how you felt you played and looking forward to round 2.

KEI NISHIKORI: Yeah, it was great match for me. I think I had great start for first two sets, and he start playing better definitely, so then fourth set. He really pushed me back and he was playing better, good defense, making a lot of first serve. I had tough time certain spots.

But I mean, good to fight through something like this, you know, it was not easy match. Looking forward to play Mackie again. I lost him in Washington three weeks ago, three, four weeks ago. I hope I can do revenge.
