Q. Lexi, we were expecting a great match, and boy did you two ever deliver. What do you have to say about going up against Anna Nordqvist in singles?

LEXI THOMPSON: It's always a great match going up against Anna. I got to play against her I think the first day, and she's just an amazing player, just so steady. Especially right now, she's just rolling in putts. She might have missed a few on the back nine, but just a great ball striker and I knew I had to play my "A" game and shot a few under, and it's tough, it was like going back and forth, and we both played great, so that's match play for you.

Q. As well as you played this week, your putter seemed to be on fire. How much confidence does that give you going forward the rest of this year and looking forward?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, of course. It definitely helps. I've put in so much time on the putting green and just put in so much work overall on my game, so it's great to see it pay off, especially on the greens, so I'm just going to continue to work on it and hopefully continue to see it improve.
