Q. How much, Leona, did you rely on adrenaline out there, fourth match of the two days, and a seesaw match that had so many clutch moments?

LEONA MAGUIRE: Yeah, we tried to ride the wave from this morning. Obviously we played some great golf this morning, and to get the win as big as we did this morning was huge.

Just tried to stay really patient. We knew it was going to be a very different match this afternoon. We knew the girls were going to be relentless, that we just had to hang in there.

We were down for most of the day, which is a position we hadn't been in the last couple days. Tried to be patient, we knew it would turn for us, and yeah, just waited for Mel to hit that clutch shot at the end.

Q. So many ups and downs throughout this match, so many clutch shots on both sides. Momentum now because of your shot on 18 is in the European favor; how important was it for you to just dig deep and hit that shot when it mattered most?

MEL REID: I think it was huge. I didn't have my best stuff today. I think they were obviously two great players and they played perfect four-ball. If one was out, one was making a look at birdie.

Leona, again, played great, putted fantastic, kept us in the match, and then I just saw kind of a wave of yellow and blue, which was all our team, and I knew I had to pull something off. Leona has been obviously holing the winning putts everywhere, so I thought I'd take a little bit of credit finally.

Q. Do you think she likes you more now?

MEL REID: I don't know. I don't know. If we're getting there, we'll see.
