Quick Quotes
Q. Erik, pretty fiery finish for you. Thoughts on the round and how you were able to close and give yourself a chance to do something special tomorrow?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Yeah, I had to stay patient. I haven't made a bogey in the last two days, and I've played really good golf. I was frustrated leaving the course yesterday knowing how well I played and not fully capitalizing on it, and I felt like I was in a similar boat sort of coming off the 13th green there. Feely, my caddie, just said look, man, this is the exact time to be patient; this is why you train. He really helped me out there today.
Then obviously making that great putt on 14, 15, and then beauty on 17 gives me some nice momentum for tomorrow.
Q. Do you think tomorrow is going to be your most pressure-packed round of the season?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: No. I've got nothing to lose. Atlanta will take care of itself. I know Bryson and some of those boys are flying, but it's a funny old game, so I'm focused on this tournament and trying to put myself in contention with a couple holes left.
Q. What majors are you in next year?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: I don't know. At the moment I think just the PGA because of the win.
Q. Do you know that getting to East Lake top 30 gets you into the other three?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: I'm aware of it, but what can I do about it? Not much, so I can just go play good golf tomorrow.
