THE MODERATOR: Big match for you today. A milestone achieved. How do you feel?

GAEL MONFILS: I feel great. I feel great. Obviously I'm happy to get the 500 wins under my belt. It's a great achievement.

I'm very proud. As I said, just a blessing. I'm very happy about it.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Hitting such a big number like 500, does it make you kind of sit back and be like, Wow, I have really done so much in this sport?

GAEL MONFILS: Is been a while I'm here. It's been a while I have been playing.

To be honest, just before coming here, I didn't really know that I was that close. Now they said 500.

Yeah, if think about it, it's a big number. It's been a lot of wins over the years, and then, as I say, I never thought that when I start to be at that amount of wins.

Q. Obviously a nice win tonight, a nice couple of weeks for you. How happy are you with the way you're playing right now?

GAEL MONFILS: Going in a good way. Everything going in a good way. Fans are back. It's like we play matches, you know, is alive, a lot of energy. I think definitely shows that I'm a player who needs this interaction. There is a crowd.

I just feel like much better, not even hundred times, but like a thousand times better than before. I just going to enjoy and keep playing and try to play better and better.
