Quick Quotes

Q. Can you talk about and summarise your round?

PRIMA THAMMARAKS: Yeah, I think I had a shot start, birdied the first two, a little bit of luck involved. But just could have built a lot more on that. It was a little.

Disappointing not being able to build off of that so much. But all in all, the course still plays a little tougher. The pins were tough today. Even the conditions were a little bit easier at times, so I feel like both of those are kind of danger, like a dangerous combination because you want to go for it but the pins are tucked tight. So I feel like it's not too -- I feel like even par is not a bad score for me since I didn't hit my iron that well today.

Q. And you had been really consistent this week, and what do you think that you mentioned the other day that it really suits your game, what do you think it is about links golf that suits you?

PRIMA THAMMARAKS: Like I said, it's more about the creativity. Just want to hit it at a certain spot and let the course does its thing, bounce it off it or bounce it on the green, and I feel like I'm really confident off the tee and off the fairway, and so like that helps, because sometimes the lie that you take is not straight to the pin, and that helps for me because I feel I'm comfortable starting the ball inside the bunker or in the out-of-bounds.

Q. Going into tomorrow, what are you going to focus on and what do you think is the key going into tomorrow's round?

PRIMA THAMMARAKS: I feel like there's a good chance the pins will be tough again tomorrow but depending on conditions, there will be windows where we can score. I'm going to go hit some balls today and hope that I hit better shots and can go for the pins at the right time.

I think my game plan is pretty good but like I said, the conditions change a lot of things. You have to go and see at that moment what the wind is doing and what the lie is doing. Just be patient and go out with the same game plan and hopefully with even better ball-striking.

Q. How much is the AIG qualifier on your mind for tomorrow?

PRIMA THAMMARAKS: I'm trying not to think about it too much. I talk about it with my sister this morning on the way end, but literally when the wind is blowing in your face all the time, it kind of got your attention.

I think that somewhat helps. As much as I want to qualify for the British, all I can do is be here and do what I can do here.

Q. Obviously you were the only Thai invite to make the cut this weekend, and it's really special, and do you think these sort of opportunities are just so important for young Thai golfers? You said there's not been a lot of travel involved. How much have you enjoyed this opportunity?

PRIMA THAMMARAKS: I've been loving it. I get to see my friend. Ariya doesn't play too far behind me, so I get to have breakfast with her like three days in a row now. Probably we'll see her tomorrow, too, and just getting to see everybody, even when we're all in the States -- I play in the US and on the Symetra Tour, I don't get to see them that much, even though we stay in the same house, we kind of just play tag in the house. We are never there at the same time. It's so good to see my friends, not just the ones I'm close with, but the girls from Thai and players from the LET. It's almost like everybody got to see each other.
