Quick Quotes
DAVID HORSEY: So yeah, that was it really. It's interesting because like when you get into that situation, that's when you really find out, when the changes and where you're at with the changes and that sort of thing. Clearly it still takes -- I need a little bit more time. But you know, the future is bright, and I'm obviously disappointed not to win, but yeah, got to take the positives and move on to next week.
Q. You caught him and then you went two clear at the turn, didn't you. What's the mindset as you walk into the back nine as a professional golfer where you've got an advantage? You've been there before. You've got across the line. What's the thought process as you go into the back nine?
DAVID HORSEY: Just to try and keep playing. It's so easy to get distracted by the event and what's going on around you. I actually felt quite calm weirdly, and in the past my heart probably would have been in my mouth, and I would have felt terrible coming down those last few holes. I kept myself calm. I knew what I was trying to do. I knew if I could trust it enough that it would hold up under pressure, and unfortunately it just didn't quite happen.
Q. Experience tells you there will be other chances, so you take positives away from this week?
DAVID HORSEY: Absolutely. My goal really now is to try and become more consistent. That's why I made these changes, and I know my game. I'll get up to Scotland on Tuesday and I'll be the same player. I've just got to keep holing the putts and try and trust it a little bit more.
