Quick Quotes
Q. Change your thinking out there at all?
DANA EBSTER: No. I was still like just hit the fairway and hit the green, and I just -- I just tried to keep playing. I don't know. I chunked one that kind of killed me on --
Q. -- 9?
DANA EBSTER: Yeah, well that one, but the par-3 I chunked it and I was in that bunker, and when I came out I made bogey and I was like, okay, that's fine. Then I went to the next hole and I think I three-putted.
Was it that one? Yeah, I think I three-putted the next one and I was like, Uhhhh. Then I wanted revenge on 7 because at that hole killed me the first day.
And then, yeah, I just -- I was trying to hit fairways and greens, and I'm not used to the cameras. That's the one thing. I was like, Oh, my God, there is a camera right there.
Q. It was just that one little five-hole blip in the middle, otherwise you played really well, really solid?
DANA EBSTER: Yeah, yeah, yes. Yeah. And I think I just kind of started thinking about there is cameras there and there is people here and I just kind of got out of my little world. And I was like, Oh, my God, this is kind of cool. And then it's like, Wait, you got to play golf.
Q. Was it still fun?
DANA EBSTER: Oh, my gosh, so much fun. And I made a putt on, what was it, 15?
Q. I saw that little dance. What was that all about?
DANA EBSTER: I was so excited. (Laughter.) I was like, Yay, it went in the hole. Because to me, that was a tough putt. It was like curling and I was just like, Oh, my gosh, I'm so excited it went in. I though, okay, use that as momentum, and then, Uhhh.
Q. You made a bogey on No. 10. It was almost a par.
DANA EBSTER: Oh, my gosh, on 11.
Q. Well, no, 10 in the bunker, the par-3.
DANA EBSTER: Oh, yeah, that --
Q. You hit it bunker to bunker.
DANA EBSTER: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, Okay, okay, that's good. I feel good. And then I went to --
Q. -- 11 was a good putt --
DANA EBSTER: 11.
Q. -- because you were way left.
DANA EBSTER: Way left and then I went into the fairway bunker, then I hit it on, and then I was like, Oh, my gosh. But I did say to myself, if I make this putt, I'm going to win.
(Laughter.) Little did I know that I had eight more holes to play, or some more holes to play.
Q. What is your caddie son's name?
DANA EBSTER: Christopher Ebster, yeah.
