MINA HARIGAE: Yep.

Q. To climb the leaderboard. Birdies at, 1, 9, 11. I just looked at these.

MINA HARIGAE: I wouldn't be able to --

Q. 1, 9, 11, 15, and 16. How did it feel to you?

MINA HARIGAE: Starting out it was okay. I think I got a couple good breaks early. I wasn't exactly hitting it like super great, but I was able to miss in the correct spots. Gave myself easy pars. Is I think that's really important here.

And then once I started -- after 9 when I made the birdie and then 11, I felt like my swing kind of freed up, so I was hitting a lot more solid shots coming in.

Q. Any of the particular birdies maybe stand out to help get the round going for you today?

MINA HARIGAE: Probably 11. I hit a really good shot going into that pin there, so that gave me a lot of confidence.

I think that's what kind of boosted me.

Q. If I looked right your first made cut here since 2015.

MINA HARIGAE: Yeah.

Q. How exciting is that to not only make the cut, but be in contention at a major championship like Evian?

MINA HARIGAE: Yeah, historically I haven't played great here, but like I said at Marathon, I'm not -- I'm a much better golfer now, so I feel like this course fits my game.

So I was able to come into this week with a fresher mindset.

Q. What is different in your game now versus then?

MINA HARIGAE: I'm able to hit where I'm trying to hit it and I'm also able to like miss it in the correct -- like left or right.

You know, I can hit more fairways and greens and that totally helps here.

Q. What about this course have you learned about it to adjust and be in this the position you're in?

MINA HARIGAE: My fiancé, Travis, who also caddies for me, he made a good point. He said it's almost like this course is like Augusta where you have to plot your way around and play away from pins and allow the contours.

I think that's what's really different, too. I'm able to not just go for the pin and use the hills and stuff here.

Q. I think Evian will be happy to hear that.

MINA HARIGAE: Yeah.

Q. Just plans for the weekend, game plan with where and you are how you hope to continue.

MINA HARIGAE: Just going to do the same thing: Try to hit as many fairways and greens as I can and really just stick to being patient and just kind of like rolling with the punches out here.
