Q. We're here with Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu, in at 3-under. Can you walk us through the day?

INBEE PARK: Yeah, our teamwork was great today. I missed a couple of shots and So Yeon missed a couple of shots and we really did well for each other, made a lot of good up-and-downs, and when we had the opportunity we were able to make birdies.

Despite that we never saw the golf course, it was a pretty good round, so happy with that.

Q. You've never seen this golf course before teeing off today?

SO YEON RYU: Well, we were supposed to play the pro-am yesterday, and then because of the rain the tournament had canceled, so we didn't get the chance to play the rest of the holes we wanted to play.

I didn't know like front nine, and she didn't know pretty much the entire golf course. Like she said, I think our teamwork was really great, and even without knowing the golf course, I think we just know each other really well like how to work it out.

I wish I played a little better, but I think it was great.

Q. You two play a lot together, but you don't play alternate-shot a lot. When was the last time you did this together?

INBEE PARK: It has to be maybe like last year or a couple years ago maybe in the Champions Trophy in Korea, in my event. We always play probably at least once or twice a year as a team, sometimes four-ball, sometimes alternate-shot.

Yeah, it was fun playing alternate-shot. Less golf and less striking balls, less putting. I really enjoyed watching So Yeon playing today.

Q. So Yeon, you've always been known as one of the best ball strikers out here; how much fun is it to play with the best putter in the world?

SO YEON RYU: Well, I actually want to say Inbee just became one of the best ball strikers in the world. I genuinely believe she's one of the best ball strikers out there for sure. To be honest, I was a little struggling with my long game today, and then we just managed to -- she was going to hit more and that I was going to putt more, and then I think just worked it out well.

I think I didn't miss many putts --

INBEE PARK: She putted great. I didn't putt that good.

SO YEON RYU: She hit like many great shots, so I think our teamwork was really, really nice.

Q. Are you excited about going into tomorrow where it is best ball?

INBEE PARK: Very excited, yeah. Let's make a lot of birdies.

SO YEON RYU: I think best ball is also a little less stressful. We just play our own ball and then we just like try to make a lot of birdies.

INBEE PARK: Yeah, 10 birdies is our goal.

SO YEON RYU: That's the goal.
