Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Nasa Hataoka. A nice round of 69. Quite a 61, but you still played well today. Tell me how you feel right now.
NASA HATAOKA: My shots were not as good as yesterday. Didn't have that many chances. I had a lot of problems, but I was able to fix that for the last part and bring it back up.
Q. You definitely fixed it with four birdies in a row, 14, 15, 16, 17. What changed in your game? What did you find to improve?
NASA HATAOKA: I was kind of stiff on impact and I was able to realize that and adjusted to relax myself and that brought those birdies.
Q. Got you. Do you watch the leaderboard at all while you're playing? I saw Elizabeth Szokol was ahead of you but you battled back. Were you watching what other players were doing?
NASA HATAOKA: I did kind of look because we kind of had to wait along the way, but I was more trying to concentrate on my round.
Q. And you were playing with two great players again, Brittany and So Yeon. Does being with friends help when you're trying to find your way again?
NASA HATAOKA: And a very good round being able to keep my rhythm and then also talking with them and being able to go around really good.
Q. Great. Two last questions. First, what is your plan for the evening and what do you hope to take from your comeback today to use toward the weekend?
NASA HATAOKA: I think I'm just going to do a little adjustment on my irons and check that out, and then just eat, sleep, and rest.
Q. Good idea.
NASA HATAOKA: For tomorrow.
Q. Last question. I saw the Japanese media taking pictures of the ribbon or your hat for Grace. I just wanted to ask your thoughts on Grace and Jane and Pete and well wishes for Baby Grace.
NASA HATAOKA: Being able to know them on the course and then all of a sudden hearing this kind of news really, really is sad. I just wish them the best because I know all of them. It's really sad. I wish them the best.
