CHELLA CHOI: Starting very easy, right? But I play with Lauren last two days, but she play so good and her putting really good yesterday. So I trying to follow her putting stroke, so that's why I play good today.

Q. Oh, you played good because you copied Lauren. Did you practice it or did you just...

CHELLA CHOI: Yes. I train to her a little, so after round yesterday, so I think much better than before I follow her, yeah.

Q. You also put in a number of birdies on your front nine. When did you really start to think the momentum was kicking up for you?

CHELLA CHOI: I think I start yesterday pretty good because I feel very good. Last week was off so a lot of good like energy for me. This is golf course like my favorite golf course. You know, a lot of good memory make for me very exciting to play here.

Q. You say it's one of your favorite golf courses.

CHELLA CHOI: Of course.

Q. You obviously have one of your favorite memories here. What's it like returning here with the fans?

CHELLA CHOI: You know, I didn't play last year so I'm very like a little sad, but I very excited to play this year. So many people is here and gallery here, everybody clap for me, so I very excited.

Q. When you think about you're playing so well on this course, do you think about those memories?

CHELLA CHOI: I don't know. I think like that golf course make good memory and I very like confidence to here because golf course very narrow and always golf course very good condition.

So if I made -- if I got a good putting stroke I make it, so I'm very excited.

Q. You said you got this good putting stroke because you copied --

CHELLA CHOI: Follow her. (Laughing.)

Q. You've been able to get yourself back into contention with this strong round today. How comfortable are you feeling in your game as we head into the weekend?

CHELLA CHOI: I work with my dad. He's come back. Last two year he didn't came, so I very excited to work with him.

And he give me a lot of confidence and he can see me like swing and little tip give me, so he always give me like a lot of good confidence. So I trying to shot by shot, like just focus on the game. So I trying to enjoy it.

Q. What have you been working on with him?

CHELLA CHOI: He give me just try straight, straight to keep fairway and keep green and make it. So I try follow them.
