Q. Tom Byrum, even-par 70 today. Looks like you had a couple of birdies on your finishing nine. Tell me about this.

TOM BYRUM: I don't know. What do you want to know?

Q. The last hole, I heard you hit one --

TOM BYRUM: Yeah, the last hole, I hit three really nice shots. I hit a nice drive and a nice cut 6-iron up there about pin high, hit the putt and looked up, and it was dead center, so it was nice. Messed up the hole before, same kind of deal. Hit a decent drive, and trying to cut a 6-iron and holed it 20 yards left the green or 10. It was nice to see this one on line.

Q. One of the things we heard people talk about is the long par-4s on the middle of the course at 8, 10, and 12. How are they playing?

TOM BYRUM: 8 isn't too bad today. Driving a 6-iron for me on that means it's not playing too bad. Yesterday I hit a driver and a 3-wood. I didn't hit a good drive, but they had the tee up a little bit today, so it made it better. 12, downwind, not too bad again, about a 7- or 6-iron in there today. So it's doable. You've just got to get it in the fairway. What's the other one?

Q. 10.

TOM BYRUM: 10 is a tough hole. But, again, downwind makes it -- not easy. I hate to use that word. They're still hard. But you can get it up around the green and then get it up-and-down. Practice round it was the other way and it was tough.

Q. In 2013 Kenny Perry made a nice comeback on the weekend; he was ten shots back. Where do golfers need to be to kind of be in contention?

TOM BYRUM: Geez, I don't know. I really haven't been watching the leaderboard. I know I'm in good shape. I just want to go out and play, just keep doing what I'm doing, maybe drive it just a little better and sharpen up the irons just a touch. My putting is so good, if I can just get some looks at it, I'll have a good chance of making a move.

As far as winning, I don't know. The conditions are pretty good today for scoring, I think. These guys out here are pretty good, so I have a feeling there will be some pretty good scores.
