Quick Quotes
Q. Joined by Jin Young Ko after a 5-under par 66 in the third round of the Volunteers of America Classic. Bogey-free performance. Jin Young, you started off on a strong note with a birdie right out of the gate. You never looked back. How good did that birdie feel to get your round going?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah, today was really difficult today, tough today, because I played 31 holes today and I woke up 4:50 this morning and I finished almost 9:00.
So I played all day today. It was long day. But I had great round today and it was fun.
Q. Does finishing the round, even in the dark just finishing the round and being the leader make today that much more satisfying?
JIN YOUNG KO: Yeah. I don't want to play tomorrow morning early so I want to really finish, but we did a great decision, yeah.
Q. You have led or shared a lead six times before this tournament. This will be your seventh time holding or sharing a 54-hole lead. You've won four of them previously. What's your mindset when you go into the final round in this position?
JIN YOUNG KO: Well, this course is not easy but not too hard because like greens are really small, so if hit the green, middle of the green, I might be chance for the birdie opportunity.
And tomorrow, yeah, I didn't know that, but I think, yeah, it's going to be -- yeah, I think I'm having a chance for tomorrow so I will keep it up.
Q. You mentioned earlier this week that you haven't always played like you expect to play. Do you feel like you are playing like you expect to play now?
JIN YOUNG KO: Well, this year, well, not as good, but not as bad. But this week is really good, so I can't wait to play for tomorrow.
