Q. The weather today, the heat, how tough it was on you?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, it's been a while since I played well, but last year it was so cold, so I don't like cold weather.

So it was so hard last year, but it's very heat this year so it's better than last year. So I enjoy it, yeah.

Q. You say it's been a while since you played well. Is some of your best golf happening? Are you playing some of your best golf?

JEONGEUN LEE6: This year?

Q. Jeongeun Lee6 after a nice bogey-free 7-under par 64 in the first round of the Volunteers of America Classic. Jeongeun, you had five birdies on the back nine today, including Nos. 17 and 18 to finish the round strong. What did you have working so well in your game to shoot a low number?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, it's been a while since I played well today, so these days my feel don't my best, but I'm trying, I'm trying my best every day.

Today I think my shot and short game was really good so I finished 7-under, yep.

Q. The tour played here just six months ago in December.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yep.

Q. And the temperatures were about 60 degrees Fahrenheit cooler. How much different is the course playing with the higher temperatures in the summer month this week?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, it was so hard last year because it was so cold and windy, but this year better than, yeah, last year, so we could play easier than last year.

Then No. 14 there is a bunker in center. We couldn't over the bunker last year, but today we can over the bunker.

So, yeah, I'm very happy. Yep.

Q. It is playing quite different when you can clear the bunker like that.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yep.

Q. Last one I have for you. There is yourself, Jin Young In Gee, and Min-G Kim are the top four players after day one, all Korean based.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Uh-huh.

Q. You are a new Texas resident and In Gee also has as place here in Texas.

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah.

Q. Is there a comfortability level to playing at tournament not far from your home?

JEONGEUN LEE6: Yeah, it's very comfortable for me because I'm staying my home and I'm sleeping on my bed and I'm eating Korean food.
