Mount Juliet Estate
Quick Quotes
GRANT FORREST: Walked away with some pretty stress-fee pars and that was the difference of keeping the momentum going today, and then nice to hole a few putts. It was nice?
Q. Have you had any exposure to Mount Juliet before?
GRANT FORREST: First time I've been here. So no, I haven't actually played a whole lot of golf in Ireland in general. This is in fantastic condition. It's a lovely course.
Q. How important is the next two days for you? Obviously this is a very big week with three Open Championship spots on the line and then of course you've got your home championship in Scotland.
GRANT FORREST: Yeah, just try and take each day as it comes. Obviously they are a couple of pretty big weeks for us. Just happy with the way my game's starting to go now.
Q. It's been a little while since we've been having fans back on the course but as we can see this week incrementally this week, growing and growing, how is it for you as a player?
GRANT FORREST: It makes such a difference. I just said that to John over lunch. Just having some people out there, just hearing the claps, and obviously some groups will have big crowds, it makes all the difference I think.
Q. Obviously when we returned after the first pandemic, it was difficult for some players to get acclimated with the new environment. What does it do to your game when you have these crowds behind you?
GRANT FORREST: I definitely prefer it. I think it just helps you kind of get up for it and feel like you're absolutely competing a bit more than if it just dead and silent out there. I really struggled with it.
