Quick Quotes
Q. Giulia Molinaro after a third round 66 with a whole slew of four birdies over your last five holes. That's a really good way to finish. Can you walk us through those birdies there?
GIULIA MOLINARO: Starting on 14, yes. I hit a good 9-iron pretty close. I think it was around -- shorter than 15 feet, and I made a good putt. I putted really well today. I mean, when you have one of those days and you see the lines and as soon as you walk up, you know where to hit it, it's a good day. I had a good probably 12-footer there maybe.
And then on 15, I made a massive putt, like it was one of those that you hope to two-putt, and it went in. So that's always a nice surprise.
On the next hole, 16, again hit it really close, probably nine feet, made that one.
17, two-putt for par, and here another maybe nine-, 12-footer.
Q. How are you feeling heading into this final round just a handful of shots off the lead?
GIULIA MOLINARO: I feel great. I've been playing really good. I've been really relaxed, surprised myself actually. I played some good golf, hit some good shots, hit some great putts, and just played my game. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.
Q. Are you a board watcher, and was there any point where you looked at the board and thought, wow, they're kind of running away with this?
GIULIA MOLINARO: Not much of a board watcher, no. Today I did a few here, and you have two great players at the top, so it's very possible that they can run away with it.
Q. But then you make a run and have played yourself back into it. Is there any point where you thought, hey, I'm back in this thing?
GIULIA MOLINARO: No, not until you said it.
I'm joking.
Yeah, I know I made the birdie on 18. I asked my caddie what we shot. I actually didn't really know. It's one more day tomorrow. It's just one more day.
Q. You were talking about the birdies. That putt on 15, how long was it?
GIULIA MOLINARO: 20 yards.
Q. Did you expect that to go in?
GIULIA MOLINARO: No, absolutely not. It's one of the putts that you're like, as I was walking up, it's a hard hole, let's try to make two putts for par.
Q. Are you at all surprised when you first got to the course and saw it that the scores are what they are, 15-under and 15-under and 10-under? Did you think it would be scoring like that or were you expecting anything different when you first saw it?
GIULIA MOLINARO: I mean, I've learnt not to assume and not to expect because every time I create a score in my mind, it's always way lower than that. The greens are perfect, in great condition. If you hit the ball well and you hit it long and you have a good putting day, you can go really low. I guess that's on every golf course.
I mean, it suits my eye. I like the course. I'm not surprised the scores are low.
Q. I understand as a European you are in an unusual situation with the Solheim Cup with a field of players, that no matter how well you play this week, you don't have any status, you won't be able to play in the Solheim. Is there anything you can do to get to the Solheim Cup?
GIULIA MOLINARO: I believe no, there's nothing I can do to be part of the Solheim Cup this year, no. I'd have to go -- I believe I'd have to go to Q-school this year or next year and get some sort of European Tour status to be able to qualify for Solheim.
