Quick Quotes
Q. Just assess the round if you could, please.
HENRIK NORLANDER: I got off to a good start. Made some solid pars 10, 11, 12 and then I had a 2-iron to like five and a half feet on 13 and made that; hit it close on 14; two-putted or birdie on 15.
So I had a quick stretch there and hit it close on 18. Then I finished the round with nine pars. Good up and down on nine. Missed a short one, birdie on one, but other than that, no complaints.
Q. Was your back nine, the front nine, playing a little more difficult than the back nine?
HENRIK NORLANDER: Yeah, it's more intimidating I would say on the back nine. But if you're hitting good shots, reachable Par-5, reachable par-4. Only had pitching wedge into 18, so it's -- feels like if you're playing good it's a little easier to get close I feel on the back.
But yeah, the course is in really good shape. Greens are still a little soft from the rain. You can be pretty aggressive into the greens.
Q. Did you feel this round coming?
HENRIK NORLANDER: You know, it's kind of weird. I had a great start of the year and then struggled all spring and early summer sort of, but I'm trying to relax a little bit more and I been playing better as of late.
Just got selected to play in the Olympics. Like I mean, things are pretty good, so I mean, just trying to have a little bit more fun. Yeah, for sure.
Q. How exciting is it to be selected to play on the Olympic team?
HENRIK NORLANDER: Yeah, it's a dream come true playing in the Olympics for Sweden. It's pretty neat, to be honest, just the experience. Of course I want to play well, but I'll be forever an Olympian, so it's cool.
