Quick Quotes
Q. No England game tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: No, not tomorrow.
Q. When is their next one?
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know. I'm not too sure. Sometime next week.
Q. So you got some time.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah.
Q. No worries for now.
CHARLEY HULL: No.
Q. Take us through today. Bogey-free round. I would imagine especially on a course where you can find so many birdies finding no bogeys is a blessing.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I played pretty well. I hit it pretty decent. I was happy with my game today.
Putted pretty solid. Didn't actually make any birdies on the par-4s, so I took advantage on the par-5s. Yeah, pretty happy with my game.
Q. Third eagle of the week for you, No. 8.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, third eagle of the week.
Q. Take us through that hole.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, hit a pretty good drive. Actually hit a really nice 5-iron in. It just came up short. The wind was kind of switching. It was just before the storm. Then I had an uphill chip from about ten yards away and holed it.
Q. Is it nice to have irons instead of woods for a week...
CHARLEY HULL: I don't know. I think the course is set up probably a bit too short. Be nice if it was a bit longer, but it's a bit fun.
Q. When you can finish like you did and put yourself in contention going into Sunday, do you feel more pressure than like, say, a major championship week where the scores might not be as low find a low number tomorrow?
CHARLEY HULL: Not really, no. It's just -- I don't really think of it like that. I just think make birdies, but everyone can make birdies, so just kind of press on. There are so many opportunities.
Q. Excitement tomorrow just being in contention?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, it's great fun. I love being in contention. Gives you a buzz, so just looking forward to it.
