Press Conference
R. BAUTISTA AGUT/M. Vilella Martinez
6-4, 6-4, 6-2
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. How important is it when you're playing someone who already has matches under his belt to go out there win in straight sets and just sort of get through so cleanly?
ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: Well, I think it's very important to start a tournament well. I was very focused. I was very concentrate. I knew Mario has good weapons, good serve, good forehand, and I had to be very focused.
Well, I respect a lot the match. I went into the court very concentrate, and I think I did a great job.
Q. Just a little bit off-topic. Obviously the best women's players in the world are here at Roland Garros. Curious if there are any women's players in particular who you enjoy watching their game. If so, what you enjoy about their games.
ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: I like to watch baseline players. I like to watch Schwartzman, Fognini, kind of these players. Of course also the top ones: Rafa, Roger, Novak.
But I'm a guy who likes to watch a lot of tennis, who likes to watch a lot of matches in the hotel. Well, I enjoy it.
THE MODERATOR: I think your question was about women players? (Translating.)
ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT: I'm not watching a lot of tennis, girls tennis, but if I watch some matches, I try to watch the Spanish girls, Carla, Sara, Garbine, Paula. And if I'm watching some matches, it's the Spanish girls.
