Q. How do you rate this victory in your career and on the Grand Slam stage?

JAN-LENNARD STRUFF: Yeah, it was definitely a very, very tough match. I played Andrey twice this year, lost twice in three sets, played twice a very good first set but couldn't get the job done.

Today I managed to beat him. Was very, very close. He fought back very tough after two sets to love up for me, and very happy I won 6-4 in the fifth, and definitely it's a huge win for me in a Grand Slam against a top-10 player. Yeah, very, very important.

Q. You've recently reached your first tour final in Munich and now this. What's changed for you in the last couple of months?

JAN-LENNARD STRUFF: I mean, I was not playing that great after Australia. I started the year pretty well in ATP Cup and had some not-that-good matches I would say. I tried before Munich to get a bit -- yeah, took some days off and tried to refocus and practiced at home for one week, had a very good practice week and was very happy that I could reach my first final on home soil. Unfortunately I lost to a very good playing Niko Basilashvili. The last tournaments were okay. I lost to Rublev, but yeah, this victory means a lot for me.
