THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. You obviously made history for France. How does that feel?
ARTHUR FILS: Unbelievable because all four guys, four French, in semifinal of the French Open, never see that in my life. So unbelievable.
GIOVANNI MPETSHI PERRICARD: Yeah, for sure for now it's amazing. But, yeah, tomorrow I will be more focused on my game. Maybe I doesn't care for it's four French guy in the semifinal.
Q. Playing each other for a place in the Roland Garros final, is that something you would have signed up for at the start of the tournament?
GIOVANNI MPETSHI PERRICARD: Not really. I was focus on every match, every matches. I knew maybe I will play against Arthur in semi, but I wasn't focused about that.
Q. Do you think there's a favorite of the four of you at this stage to go on and win the tournament?
GIOVANNI MPETSHI PERRICARD: For now the favorite, maybe all of us.
ARTHUR FILS: One of us. It's really difficult to put a name on the favorite because we are all playing really good. So that will be the better on the court. We will see.
Q. There's been quite a lot of talk about the men and women not performing as well as they have in previous years. With the juniors doing so well, do you think that shows there's a really bright future?
ARTHUR FILS: Yeah, I think we will have a big generation, big generation is coming. With 2002, 2003, 2004, we are all playing really good in France. In boys, we can be all in top 100 in two, three years.
Q. Only one French boy has won here since Gael Monfils in 2004. There's a chance now there will be another. What would it mean for either of you if you were to win? How special is it to win at Roland Garros?
GIOVANNI MPETSHI PERRICARD: Yeah, for a French win Roland Garros, it's always a special thing for sure. I hope the one who will win this one is going to be Andrejic. Very, very good.
Q. Arthur, you caused a bit of a stir by beating Bernard Tomic in the first round of men's qualifying. Did that give you confidence coming into this event? You must be quite confident as a result.
ARTHUR FILS: Yeah, I knew I was playing good. I was playing good. I mean, when I saw I'm playing against Tomic, I said, Okay, it's a big match, a big match is coming. To win give me a lot of confidence I think because I knew I can play good.
But during a match it's not the same. Like I won, and after I did a good match against Polmans. That's give me a lot of confidence.
