Q. Tain, obviously, eight birdies on the day out there. Just kind of take us through what that experience was like. Obviously, the conditions a little bit harder today.

TAIN LEE: Yeah, with all that was going on today, I feel like I couldn't have even told you I had eight birdies, probably a double and two bogeys or three bogeys. So it was up and down today, obviously the delay.

To be honest, on Sunday at the qualifier, we had a delay an hour and 40 minutes, no warmup, and I skied a 5-wood on my first shot back. Today my second shot back I bladed a 54. I don't got a good track record coming back, but we came in the clubhouse and did all right.

Q. What's been changing for you differently? Coming into this week, obviously Monday to get in. What's really been the key for you success-wise?

TAIN LEE: A lot's been going on in the world this past year, but for me the past couple years, few years, got married, had a kid, and things have changed a little bit. So for the golf game, it seems to have changed for the better so far. Maybe I found a little something, but we'll see what we can do this weekend.

Q. What's it like? You mentioned this weekend. What's it like going into the weekend on the PGA TOUR within striking distance of some of the great players?

TAIN LEE: I don't know. Do you know what place I'm in?

Q. Third.

TAIN LEE: Yeah, that's pretty crazy. That's wild. I just kept my head down today. I was trying to make birdies and see what we can do, make the cut first and foremost. Third place going into the weekend, I'll take that for sure, and I'll try to keep my head down and do more of the same.

Q. Obviously, not a leaderboard watcher by your response?

TAIN LEE: Today I was looking at the cut line all day. I was like whenever the leaderboard popped up, I was looking at the cut line. I was trying to get as far away from that as possible. Whenever I looked over, the first page wasn't up, so I didn't know what was going on.

Usually, I like to watch it. It's more fun knowing. Today that's just how it worked out.
