Quick Quotes
Q. Hole-in-one.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah.
Q. Whoo-hoo. Hey, at least you didn't get a hole-in-one in Vegas.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah.
Q. Take us through 17, what happened, did you see it, any reaction, what was it like?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: I actually struck it really well and I -- there was like a little ridge behind the green and I saw it going up and I thought initially that it had gone over the back, but then it started coming back.
I didn't see it go in because you can't see the hole, so that kind of sucked. But then everybody was like, It went in. I was like, Oh, yay.
So, yeah, it was nice because I was kind of flirting with the cut line. Just to have those two shots there was a nice way to finish.
Q. And $20,000 gets donated to St. Jude's children hospital.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Oh, wow, perfect. That's amazing, yeah.
Q. What's that like when you can contribute to something through your own profession?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: You know, I'm proud of being able to do that. Even the tour being associated with such an amazing charity like that and having the opportunity to donate that amount of money is amazing.
So, yeah, I'm really happy.
Q. Fourth one I think in competition on the LPGA. Was that your fourth one?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: That sounds about right, yeah, I was trying to think about how many I had had on the LPGA. It's my 11th one this my career, so, yeah.
Q. Was this a little maybe more impactful with obviously helping you play the weekend, more than most?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, I think so. It just came at a very critical time in the round. You know, I was pushing for birdies coming in and the putts just weren't really dropping.
So it was nice not to putt I guess. (Laughter.)
Q. Keep the putter in the bag.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, good for the putting stats.
