Quick Quotes
Q. Talk me through your round and how the course played differently today.
STACY LEWIS: I thought early it was playing very difficult. It was cold this morning. Ball wasn't going very far. It was damp. They moved a couple tees back.
So I thought it played a little bit harder today in general. There is still a few holes where you have some short clubs in, but towards the end of the day the wind started to pick up and it was switching directions on you. It would be down and soon as you hit go into.
So I'm glad to be done.
Q. So two rounds of 72. Did you change your mindset coming into today, or preparation?
STACY LEWIS: No, it's literally you get in the mindset of just counting down the holes. This golf course is so hard and can just wear on you. You just really have to stay patient and just if you miss a green, go try to get up and down.
It's just so hard. The mindset is the next hole, the next hole, the next hole. And then you're just happy when you don't have anymore left.
Q. Going into the weekend are you going to change anything up? How do you plan on making up ground?
STACY LEWIS: I got to get a little bit better with the wedges. I haven't really scored as well as I would've liked when I had some shorter clubs, but I'm really doing a good job of missing it on the right side of the holes and not missing too many fairways.
So really just keep doing what I'm doing. I think the golf course is going to continue to get harder. I see more tees going back tomorrow, so going to see how this golf course really plays this weekend.
