Q. So great playing today. Got to be a relief to get in for the weekend and make the cut here.

LUCY LI: Yeah, for sure. You know, I kind of came out and was playing pretty well and I thought I was cruising there, and a couple of bad holes and I was at plus five. So kind of iffy for a second.

I'm really glad chipping in on I think it was 5 today, that really turned my round around. So being able to come in and make a couple birdies felt really good.

Q. Being local you have to probably have a better comfort level with the way the weather is, where many of the other players that, for example were in Vegas last week where it was over 100, that's got to be a little bit of an advantage for you to be playing your hometown weather.

LUCY LI: Yeah, actually I live 20 minutes away from here and it's like a good 10, 15 degrees warmer. But having played in this area you know what to expect. I haven't really played in weather in a while. I think it's just mentally being prepared for it and knowing that's what's it's going to be like. That's the most important part.

So my family has been complaining all week about the weather. I think it's really important to just accept it and like kind of deal with it.

Q. Do you have a particular focus for the weekend? Thoughts going into Saturday?

LUCY LI: I mean, just kind of doing the same thing. This course is tough. Just got to keep your head down, focus on each shot, and stay focused.
