Quick Quotes
Q. Ally and Charlie, one year and three hours and about seven minutes ago, you guys exchanged vows. Did you get here this week and think this is a potential anniversary present to us both?
ALLY EWING: No. I mean, I guess it didn't really set in until today. I did have thoughts, good thoughts from my win at Drive On on my birthday. I was like, why not have the second win on our anniversary?
Certainly special to be this way.
Q. Is this the most grueling week of your golfing life?
ALLY EWING: It's definitely up there. I feel like I was limping in really. Just kind of really got fatigued out there. Yeah, needless to say, Monday through Wednesday leading up to a major championship I'm going to have to find a way to prepare and get some rest.
Q. What was going through you mind Charlie?
CHARLIE EWING: Second coolest thing to happen to us on May 30th. No, I had a lot of trust in her so I felt like I kept it together a lot better than if I would've been playing. A lot of fun watching her. I'm really proud of her.
Q. How are you going to regroup and get as keyed up as you need to for Olympic Club in four days?
ALLY EWING: Definitely a lot of sleep tonight, and, yeah, we'll just regroup. As of right now I'm playing nine holes tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see how that goes.
Probably see how I feel tomorrow. Yeah, just find some rest in there. My caddie and I will have a game plan no matter what when it comes to teeing it up Thursday. Just going to soak in this week and be ready to tee it up Thursday.
