Q. Danielle Kang, nice enough to join us after the disappointing loss. You are a very tough customer. That's been known for a long, long time. What can you say about the way alley competed today?

DANIELLE KANG: It was a good match. It was a lot of birdies out there. I think we played probably the best rounds of the day. I'm just still kind of -- there is nothing I can do about the kick, just didn't have a shot really. Did the best I could but just came up one short.

Q. What does it say about the LPGA? I know you were instrumental in getting this event here, MGM, Bank of Hope, and Shadow Creek. The stature of the LPGA's willingness to host an event of this magnitude and treating players the way they do.

DANIELLE KANG: At the end of the day it's the way MGM Resorts, they're big partners of mine, we been all talking about how they really wanted to host a women's event out here. Shadow Creek is one the best golf courses by far, in my opinion.

It's a major championship golf course. They treated us like a major, the way it should be. The way they hosted us, the way they invited us and made the stage for us, I'm so thankful, and I can't wait to be back next year. I really, really wanted to win this event. I guess my time has come to an end this time.

But all in all I had all the MGM crew come out and support me every day, so I'm really thankful. It's Vegas and I hope that girls really liked shadow.

Q. I'm sure they did, and treated with the respect you all deserve now. How long to turn where thoughts to next week?

DANIELLE KANG: I mean, golf is golf. Every day is -- you just got to keep focusing. I'm playing really well. I'm really excited about where my golf game is headed. I definitely took a little detour for the last few months, and about a week ago I felt like everything is starting to come together.

It showed this week. I played well today and Ally played really well, so it wasn't like she gave it away or I gave it away. She won the match. So I hope I get to go head on head with her again. I was thinking about Reynolds, Reynolds Lake, and I really wanted to win today. You know, I came down the stretch, did everything I could, just couple of the lies, it's hard.
