Q. As far as matches go, you can't get any tighter than that. Never got more than a 1up lead and that was on your side, Jaye Marie. Give us your thoughts about how things transpired today.

JAYE MARIE GREEN: Yeah, it was an interesting match. I love Minjee in general, so it's kind of hard to compete against one of your friends. But it was just kind of back and forth and neither of us like were capitalizing when we could have.

So it was a hard match. Went all the way to 18, yeah.

Q. Minjee, as Jaye Marie was mentioning, there wasn't a lot of momentum change. You came in here as a much higher ranked player. Do rankings matter in match play?

MINJEE LEE: I feel like it doesn't. I feel like if you look at all the groups everybody has a pretty strong -- every pairing is pretty strong. It's anybody's game right now. It's only the first day.
