Quick Quotes
Q. Inbee, that was a clutch putt there, clutch up and down there on 18. That was quite a match you had with Jennifer. Ultimately come out with the tie. Talk us through the last hole if you don't mind.
INBEE PARK: Yeah, last hole up and down was great. I was very satisfied how I played the last hole. Overall play today was not as good as what I should have played. Made few mistakes out there today. I'm trying to cancel that out for next two days, and hopefully I can get through.
Q. You got up early with the 1-up on the second hole. How were you feeling when you got out there this morning? Were you feeling like it was out there for you?
INBEE PARK: You know, just feels just really weird playing in the hometown and just waking up on your own bed and just going to the tournament. I mean, it's something I've never done before.
So today was how I kind of felt a little nervous and I wasn't able to perform as well as I wanted to perform, so hopefully the rust is off today and hopefully the next few days I'll be playing better.
Q. Jennifer had the quick run of three holes in a row right around the turn to go 2-up, but you battled back with a birdie on 11. Tell us what happened there.
INBEE PARK: Yeah, I chipped in just behind the hole. It was a downhill chip just like the 18th hole, and I had a great chip there. Made some few great up and downs, she did as well, and she played well out there today. Yeah, I think I did good to halve the match today.
Q. She was the last player in the field when Wei-Ling withdrew. Young face, one of the rookies on tour. What are your thoughts?
INBEE PARK: Yeah, she was very consistent and she holed some great putts. Yeah, I was surprised how she played out there today.
Q. What did you take from today that you try to apply to tomorrow?
INBEE PARK: I just wasn't putting well out there today. I missed few short opportunities and I didn't hit the shots I wanted to, so I'm just trying to fix everything down for next couple days.
Q. The ribbon on your hat, is that for your grandfather?
INBEE PARK: Yes.
Q. Playing in his memory still today?
INBEE PARK: Uh-huh.
Q. You still doing okay?
INBEE PARK: Yeah, I'm still doing fine. I think my dad is probably having much harder time than I am. Yeah, I'm just trying to cheer him up and playing some good golf.
